Take over a teammate's half-finished agent-written script

A teammate on the infra team leaves tomorrow for 3 weeks. They hand you a Bash script, mostly written with their AI assistant, that renews TLS certificates on 40 nginx hosts. It is about 80% done, and the rollback, for when a renewed certificate breaks a host, is not written. You use a different assistant, and their chat history stays with them.
