Question

You are given the vertex values of a convex polygon in clockwise order in an array values. Triangulate the polygon into n-2 triangles; the score of a triangle is the product of its three vertex values, and the score of a triangulation is the sum of its triangle scores. Return the minimum possible total score over all triangulations. The polygon has between 3 and 50 vertices, each value in [1, 100].

What a strong answer looks like

State your approach and its time/space complexity out loud before you optimize. Handle the edge cases (empty input, duplicates, overflow), and say why you chose this over the brute force. Green tests are the floor, not the grade.

Vibe coding: describe the solution in plain language (or narrate it) and the coach grades your approach. Generating runnable code from your description is coming next.

Run or narrate your approach, then ask the coach.
